East Boston Residents Save!

East Boston Residents Save!

This June, Renew Boston will host two free energy-saving workshops in East Boston. The first workshop is on Thursday, June 16th at 6:30pm at the Pino Community Center. Or you can join us for the second workshop on Saturday, June 18th at 10:00am at the East Boston Library. NOAH (Neighborhood of Affordable Housing) is co-sponsoring the workshops.

More and more East Boston residents are making the connections between saving energy, saving money, and protecting their community from the effects of climate change. Families like that of Victor and Maria Grande are loving the results of adding insulation. They say, “Everything is great. We have saved significant amounts of money on our heating and electricity and we were a lot more comfortable at home during last year’s winter season.”

Learn ways to make your home more comfortable, enhance your property, and reduce your costs. The workshops are open to the public and will cover no-cost Home Energy Assessments, huge discounts on insulation, heating and cooling rebates, 0% interest HEAT loan, grants for asbestos removal and qualified wiring upgrades, and information on other energy-saving opportunities. Whether you rent or own, stop by one of these upcoming workshops to hear an informative presentation on ways you can stop wasting energy, start saving money, and help Boston shrink its climate change footprint!
