Renew Boston partners with Eversource and National Grid to deliver the Mass Save program to Boston residents. Renew Boston and its partners can provide participating residents with a range of efficiency services such as:

  1. A No-Cost Energy Assessment
  2. No-cost instant savings measures like high-efficiency light bulbs, programmable thermostats, and water savings devices
  3. 75% off—up to $2,000—for insulation and air sealing. For triple-deckers and duplexes where all eligible units are weatherized, incentives include 90% off insulation, up to $3,000 per unit.
  4. A 0% Interest HEAT Loan to finance insulation, heating systems, and other energy efficient upgrades
  5. Appliance and equipment rebates for heating systems, lighting, cooling equipment, and more.

Depending upon the results of the home energy assessment, customers may also qualify for a variety of other incentives for energy efficient products.

How do I sign-up?

  1. Click on the “Pick a Date” button at Request an Energy Assessment or
  2. Call 617-635-SAVE (7283) and answer a few quick questions.

Once you sign-up, one of our professional energy representatives will verify your program eligibility, discuss energy savings opportunities with you, and arrange an energy assessment for your home.

Qualifications include:

  • 1-4 unit building*
  • Boston resident*

Note: Other qualifications may apply for specific energy efficiency services. Residents who qualify for Fuel Assistance or are on a discount rate should contact Action for Community Development (ABCD) at 617-357-6012 to learn more about no-cost weatherization and insulation.
